BBQ Pizza – Delivered From Your Freezer!

Pizza delivered directly from your freezer.

How excellent does that sound? The fantastic taste of grilled pizza with ordinary, everyday ingredients that you almost certainly already have in your fridge! No need to walk any further than your kitchen or wait an hour or so for delivery.

Here’s how!

What you need:

One English Muffin
Tomato sauce (pasta sauce works fantastic!)
String Cheese/ Shredded Mozzarella

What to do:

It’s important to preheat your grill! Clean your grill and make sure you remove the remnants from any past meal off the grates of the Q.
Once your grates are clean, preheat your grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put the muffin on the grill and toast for 30 seconds. Remove from the grill and add the tomato sauce. If you want lots of sauce on your pizza put as much as you want!

You can use mozzarella string cheese. I love using cheese in this form as the cheese is thick and stays on easier, plus it provides a fun, innovative effect on your personal pizza! I produced a pizza that had a cute cheese center, but enable your creativity run crazy with all the string cheese designs! If you decide to use string cheese, separate the chain cheese into thin pieces and place them onto the sauce in your personal pizza. When you complete your cheese mural, put the pizzas onto the platter.

Change the temperature down to low! Grill the pizzas on direct heat for six minutes then move the pizzas to indirect heat (from the relationship around the outsides of the grate) for 6 more minutes. When the cheese is barely melted, leave the pizzas on for another minute and removed once the cheese is thoroughly melted.

Use a spatula to remove the personal pizzas to let them cool. When you are waiting for your mini-pizzas to cool to the perfect temperature, take a photo and Snapchat your masterpiece to your friends—or take it to the next level and Instagram it! Show them your abstract string cheese art built on your Q on top of your homemade pizzas! It’s not really a bad thing to show off once in a while….
